As a complement to John McCaldin Loewenthal, the Loewenthal Letters Project on Humanities Commons presents photographs of the letters written by JMcC to his mother between 1899 and 1895. The digital files are preserved in the CORE repository, allowing access for future researchers. Humanities Commons allocates each file a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). This ensures the materials are indexed by sites such as Google Scholars so that they can be integrated into future studies.
